  • Mount Edgecombe Plantation (map)

“We must be free not because we claim freedom, but because we practice it.”  -William Faulkner

Free Up Yoga & Meditation Retreat is an invitation to shine a light on our limiting beliefs, rediscover our personal freedoms and strengthen the fabric of goodwill in this world. Hosted by Malaika Maitland yoga therapist, birth & postpartum doula, visual artist and co-founder of Spice Harmony Yoga. On the eve of Emancipation Day public holiday - this day will be a rich mixture of yoga, guided meditation, breath work, self-reflection, connection and nature. As an eco-friendly option, and to extend your relaxation, we’ve have arranged a round trip taxi from St.George’s.

According to yoga philosophy, there are five layers of self called the koshas, related to the physical, energetic, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual aspects of our being. This model is an integral part of Malaika’s yoga therapy practice. Insight into how you can apply the lens of the koshas to your own life will be woven into throughout Free Up Yoga & Meditation Retreat . Learn how they can provide a fresh perspective and support you in cultivating a truly holistic wellness.
